ForwardRoot LLC (“ForwardRoot,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides software, automation, and messaging services that help small- and medium-sized businesses streamline operations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information—especially phone numbers received through opt-in forms or other consent methods—so we remain compliant with all applicable U.S. A2P 10DLC, TCPA, and CTIA requirements.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Service Delivery — create accounts, send quotes, project updates, and SMS reminders.
  • Improve & Secure — monitor usage, debug issues, and prevent fraud.
  • Marketing (Low-Volume Mixed SMS & Email) — send product announcements or promotions to customers who have opted in. You may opt out at any time (see Section 5).
  • Legal & Compliance — satisfy A2P 10DLC carrier rules and applicable laws (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, GDPR where applicable).

3. How We Share Information

  • Vendors & Sub-processors (e.g., Twilio, Google Cloud, Stripe) strictly to run our services.
  • Legal or Safety Reasons — to comply with a subpoena or protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business Transfers — if ForwardRoot undergoes a merger or acquisition, you will be notified before data is transferred or becomes subject to a new policy.

We never sell or rent your phone number or other personal data to third-party marketers.

4. Data Retention

We retain contact and messaging data only as long as necessary for active client projects, audit requirements (typically four years for message logs), or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it.

5. Your Choices & Rights

CCPA / GDPR Requests Include “CCPA Request” or “GDPR Request” in the subject line; we will respond within the statutory period.

6. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, least-privilege access controls, two-factor authentication, and periodic security audits. Although no system is 100 % secure, these measures help protect your data.

7. International Data Transfers

If you access our services from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer of your information to U.S. servers, where it will be processed under U.S. privacy laws.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. We will post the revised version here and, if changes are material, notify you by email or SMS at least ten days before they take effect.
